The New Eyebrow Game

No. This isn’t a serious attempt to start a new trend of eyebrows.

I was bored and decided I’d play around with a new type of arty design. I really like to paint. Paint on canvas and on faces is what I enjoy to do as a hobby. I think all my family has this gene of creative desire, my mother, father and sister are all creative in different aspects and I think that is where I have gotten this passion for the arts.

I love how makeup and art doesn’t have any boundaries. You can do anything you want and it is still art.

I used a mixture of eye shadows from Makeup Geek and BH Cosmetics for the eyes and I used Lime Crime lipstick in ‘Countessa Flourescent’ and Australis lipstick in ‘Grunge’.

Makeup of the Day

BH Cosmetics San Fransisco Palette on my eyes and Loreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper on my brows.

I am really loving this Brow product from Loreal Paris as it is perfect for those days where I can’t be bothered filling in my brows. It gives a little bit of colour while also holding the hairs in place.

Happy Australia Day!

90’s Grunge

DSC01180 DSC01183 DSC01194

The 90’s was an era to remember. It was when Clueless and FRIENDS came out, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell ruled the catwalk, tattoos and body piercings were all the rage and this was when grunge was at its peak!

To create this look I used my True Match Foundation in ‘W2 Light Ivory’ and Face of Australia Translucent Powder as my base. To contour I used Mac ‘Harmony’ and I also Used this colour for my blush. To highlight I used Makeup Geek’s ‘Shimma Shimma’ eye shadow.

For the Eyes I used Makeup Geek eye shadows in ‘Corrupt’, ‘Mocha’ and ‘Latte’ and Bh Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette ‘Mercury’. I used an Australis eyeliner in black for my waterline and along the upper lashes. I didn’t put on any mascara so it was more of an edgy look.

On the lips I used Australis Lip Inject Lipstick in ‘Grunge’

Happy Hump Day!

BH Cosmetics

Hey everyone!

Sorry I’ve been M.I.A the last few days. I went to the Gold Coast and it was amazing! The heat lately here in Queensland, Australia, is horrendous so I was happy to be spending my time relaxing at the beach and by the hotel pool.

This was my look for Valentines day using the products listed below.

I ordered a few BH eyeshadow and blush palettes before I left for the Gold Coast hoping they would arrive before I left but unfortunately they didn’t. The post man however didn’t disappoint this morning and brought my package before I was awake! I was so excited I had to show you all.

Lauren Curtis ( http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXbQzhqSvgVZTUyi1T4AU3w

 Carli Bybel ( http://www.youtube.com/user/CarliBel55/videos?view=46&tag_id=UC21yq4sq8uxTcfgIxxyE9VQ.3.makeup&sort=dd&shelf_id=15 )

from youtube have both used BH cosmetic palettes before which is what sparked my curiosity and for the price it’s definitely worth a try.

I bought all of these palettes for just over $50 with $15 shipping from the US to Australia. They had a crazy valentines day sale and everything was unrealistically cheap so I wasn’t sure how the colours would actually look, but to my surprise I’m actually in love!

I didn’t have time to create a look with each palette this morning as I would have liked to but I did have time to create a look with my Galaxy Chic Palette. I love the baked eyeshadows! They are all so pigmented, beautiful and easy to blend. I was unsure on try bright colours cause I love my neutrals but I really enjoyed playing with the pinks and maroons.
